CERTES
Center for Studies and Research in Thermal, Environment and Systems
CERTES was established in 2001. Centered around Transfer Physics, its expertise spans experimentation, modeling, and signal processing.
Its research applies to fields such as Industrial Thermal Engineering, Energy, Environment, and Materials. Contracts and collaborations with industrial partners and R&D centers in these areas highlight the laboratory’s strong involvement in technology transfer.
CERTES is a host research team (EA 3481) (ROR number) of Université Paris-Est Créteil, a member of OSU Efluve, and is led by Professor Laurent IBOS, with Fabien DELALEUX overseeing the Sénart site, and Isabelle HARBELOT responsible for the Créteil site.
The team includes lecturer-researchers from the IUT of Créteil-Vitry, the IUT of Sénart-Fontainebleau, and the Faculty of Science and Technology of UPEC, spread across the Créteil and Sénart campuses. CERTES also hosts PhD students from the Doctoral School of Science, Engineering and Environment of Université Paris-Est.
