SCF Awards – Young Talents in Chemistry 2026
Application deadline: 15 March 2026 (midnight)
The SCF Ile-de-France regional office has just announced the launch of the 2026 Young Talents in Chemistry Awards. This scientific event aims to reward and highlight the work carried out by researchers in the Ile-de-France region. The prizes awarded are:
- Thesis Prize: 4 thesis prizes will be awarded in different categories (organic, inorganic, materials, physical chemistry, etc.). Application: Online form
- Technical prize: 2 individual prizes for research support staff to reward/recognise their contributions to the advancement of research and teaching. Application: online form
- Science communication/mediation prize: 1 prize to reward science communication or outreach activities developed in the region. Application: online form
- Internship Award*: Research interns at the L3 to M2 level will be rewarded for their contributions.
*Please note that the internship awards will be organised and evaluated by the IdF youth office and that the relevant information will be communicated at a later date.
Application terms and criteria
See the attached document (french). The winners will be announced on 31 March. The winners will then be invited to the Pierre & Marie Curie campus of Sorbonne University in June 2026 to present their work at the Young Talents in Chemistry Day.
