Professor at CY Université – LAMBE

The LAMBE laboratory at the University of Cergy-CY Paris is seeking a university professor with a background in computational chemistry, bioinformatics and AI applied to biophysics, nanopore technology and signal analysis, with expertise in computer programming and molecular simulation.

Teaching profile: The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in:

  • Bioinformatics and modelling, biostatistics, mathematics for biology;
  • Computer programming and molecular simulation;
  • Supervision of courses and seminars at the Doctoral School;
  • Design and development of innovative teaching modules within the framework of the European EUTOPIA alliance.

He or she will contribute to the creation of innovative modules at Master’s and PhD level on the application of bioinformatics, biostatistics and modelling to experimental data, and will supervise internships, tutored projects and PhD theses.

Research profile: Computational chemistry, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence (AI) applied to the analysis of experimental data in biophysics. The successful candidate must have solid expertise in:

  • processing complex, multidimensional and noisy data from experimental devices (nanopores, micropipettes, AFM, microfluidics); artificial intelligence methods (machine learning, neural networks, clustering, multiparametric analyses);
  • computer programming, molecular simulation and bioinformatics for modelling and analysing biomolecules; experimental chemistry and biophysics
