DIM MaTerRE will be at the Double Science festival from 14 to 15 June 2025 at Ground Control. Come and meet scientists from the network and play games with them about eco-responsible materials!

What is ecoresponsible materials research and what are the issues at stake in our daily lives? To find out, the Paris region network for research into eco-responsible materials (DIM MaTerRE) is offering 3 games that will put your senses, memory and speed on the alert: a memory game, a Dobble game and a board game… with a Lego challenge!
Saturday 14 June at 4pm:
A mock trial for a real debate: Do we still need to invent materials?
Last November, scientists and materials experts appeared to defend or contest the need to invent new materials in a unique edition of a tribunal for future generations. Come and discover the key elements of the trial and reach a new verdict.
On the programme: a 25-minute screening followed by a debate with the audience led by Lola Lilensten, CNRS researcher at the IRCP.
