Are you a researcher, PhD student or lecturer-researcher within the PSL ecosystem and considering commercialising your research by setting up a start-up?

The PSL Innovation Hub invites you to a webinar on building an entrepreneurial team on Tuesday 14 April from 1pm to 2pm, featuring a presentation by Farid Nouar, lead of the MembranAIR project and co-founder of the start-up SquairTech.

All investors consider the team to be a start-up’s number one asset. What is an entrepreneurial team? What are the different roles within a team? Why is it important to surround yourself with the right people? How do you build an effective and competent team? These are all questions to ask yourself before setting up a start-up.

By the end of the webinar, you will be able to:

  • Define the foundations of a team for a research-based entrepreneurial project
  • Identify the specific characteristics and challenges of this type of team
  • Clarify the key roles of team members
  • Identify actionable steps and support to build a high-performing team that inspires confidence in investors

Speaker: Claire Tagand, Project Manager at the PSL University Innovation Hub – Team and HR Expertise
