SCF call for proposals – Grants for organizing scientific events, educational activities, and participation in conferences

The office of the Société Chimique de France – IdF announces the opening of a call for applications in 2026 for financial assistance for scientific events (workshops, symposiums, conferences, etc.), educational activities, and support for doctoral students/post-doctoral students/ATERs for their participation in a scientific event.
At the end of this call, three grants will be awarded:
- One grant of €250 for the organization of a scientific event.
- One grant of €250 for the organization of an educational activity.
- One grant of €250 for participation in a scientific event.
Conditions and application procedures:
- The scientific event and educational activity must take place in the Île-de-France region. At least one member of the organising committee must be a member of the SCF. The application must be accompanied by a completed application form containing a summary of the project and a statement of intent (potential for mobilisation, quality of the programme, international character, if applicable, communication activities promoting the SCF). The regional section reserves the right not to fund scientific events that do not respect gender equality.
- To be eligible for a grant to participate in a scientific event, doctoral students, assistant professors and post-doctoral researchers must be members of the SCF-IdF on the date of application. The location of the conference for which the participant is applying is not relevant (it may be outside the Ile-de-France region). The applicant’s CV and a letter of recommendation from their thesis supervisor for doctoral students or their supervisor for ATERs and post-docs must accompany the application.
