eMOCA – Molecular electrochemistry and catalysis
- Catalysis of electrochemical, photochemical and photoelectrochemical activation of CO2, N2 O2
- Molecular catalysis and supported in film and surface, catalytic hybrid materials.
- Photoelectrodes.
- CO2 electrolysers.
Our research focus on: Small molecule activation linked to contemporary energy challenges; Development of new catalytic systems at the frontier of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, combining molecules and conductive or semiconducting materials to produce hybrid materials with high selectivity and durability. e.g. : new photoelectrodes combining efficient photoabsorbent materials and molecular catalysts or the covalent attachment of molecular complexes to semiconducting nanomaterials (notably based on carbon) for photocatalysis.
