SquairTech
Sorbents for air quality
In 2017, a team of researchers began studying a major health and environmental issue: air quality. They identified high concentrations of various gaseous pollutants, exceeding the levels recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO), as well as a lack of effective solutions to mitigate them.
To remedy this, the team focused its research on the use of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) to specifically target formaldehyde, a common pollutant in indoor environments. Convinced of the strong potential of MOFs to address air quality issues, it founded the start-up SquairTech in 2021. Since its creation, SquairTech has tackled various issues related to air pollution.
In collaboration with scientific experts and industrial partners, the company develops innovative and reliable solutions aimed at improving air quality.
