2026 International Drying Symposium (IDS)
Event Information
Early-bird registration is open until 31 March 2026 on the event platform.
The IDS 2026, dedicated to Strategies for Reducing the Carbon Footprint of Drying in a Resource-Constrained World, will be held from 25 to 28 August 2026 on the CentraleSupélec campus.
The symposium will address current and future challenges in the field of drying and dewatering and will be structured around four major pillars: simulation and artificial intelligence, the use of intermittent energy sources, biosourced products, and new technologies, in order to meet the challenges of sustainable development—energy savings, product preservation, cost reduction, process flexibility, and adaptability.
The event aims to bring together internationally renowned researchers and engineers from both academia and industry.
An awards program for the international drying community is also planned.
