PolyGLOW
Polymer-Grafted Luminescent nanOparticles via Water-driven assembly
PolyGLOW focuses on the development of emissive polymer nanoparticles which can be prepared in water. By precisely controlling the molecular structure, arrangement and solubility of these components, we aim to modulate their light-emitting properties, creating nanoparticles with specific morphologies. Through an in-depth structure-property study, we will establish correlations between the molecular design and the resulting emissive behavior at the nanoscale. This proposal bridges fundamental science and applied innovation, offering new possibilities for imaging and sensing technologies that rely on precise control of light at the smallest scales.
