Materials Chemistry Lecturer (M/F) (CNU 33)
Chimie ParisTech-PSL is offering a position as Senior Lecturer in Materials Chemistry (CNU 33)
Research Profile
The successful candidate will join the PCMTH (Physico-Chemistry of Materials that Bear Witness to History) team at the IRCP (UMR 8247 CNRS–ENSCP).
This is a unique position at the interface between materials science and heritage science, involving close collaboration with the C2RMF at the Louvre Palace, among others.
Two profiles are sought:
- Physicochemistry of inorganic solids
- Structural analysis (crystallised or amorphous materials) by X-ray diffraction
- Synthesis skills
OR
- Reaction mechanisms and material alteration
- Development, adhesion, leaching
- Post-treatment behaviour (laser cleaning, chemical conversion, etc.) No prior experience in heritage materials is required.
Profile Education
The successful candidate will:
- Be involved in the three-year engineering programme
- Contribute to PSL’s bachelor’s and master’s programmes
- Teach lectures, tutorials, practicals and projects
