Research Fellow in «Cement chemistry»

Applications must be submitted by March 13, 2026 via the dedicated government platform.

A position as a Senior Researcher in Sustainable Development (CR CN) in Cement Chemistry is available at Gustave Eiffel University within the Materials and Structures Department (MAST).

The recruited Research fellow will primarily conduct experimental research, complemented by thermodynamic modeling to predict the formation of mineral phases. Their work will centre on the broad field of cement chemistry, spanning from production and implementation processes to in-service performance. Specifically, they will investigate the nucleation and growth of mineral phases, examining their morphology, crystallography, and the kinetics of nucleation and growth. Additionally, they will explore the effects of organic substances—such as admixtures or organic molecules released by material constituents—on these mineral phases, including phenomena such as adsorption and complexation.
