René Dabard Thesis Prize

Did you obtained your chemistry thesis in 2023? The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes launches the René Dabard Thesis Prize, open to all French doctors!

The objective of the René Dabard Thesis Prize is to recognize each year a doctor, without institutional restriction, for his thesis work in molecular, solid, materials or environmental engineering chemistry.

This prize aims to reward a young researcher whose work, of high scientific quality, has contributed to the advancement of scientific knowledge, technological innovation and a better understanding of social and environmental issues.

This thesis prize will be awarded by a jury composed of recognized personalities from the academic sector and the socio-economic world. The evaluation criteria will focus on the originality of the research theme, risk taking and mobility, scientific production (publications, patents, prices).

The winner will receive a prize of €1,500 from the Fondation Université de Rennes. Two second prizes of €500 will be awarded.

Application by e-mail to direction-scientifique@ensc-rennes.fr no later than June 10th 2024: file up to five pages including a CV and a summary of the thesis work by exposing the perspectives opened by the results obtained during the thesis. All PhD students in chemistry who obtained their thesis in 2023 are eligible.
