The LAMBE laboratory at the University of Cergy-Pontoise is seeking a senior lecturer specialising in molecular biology, with expertise in recombinant protein production and protein nanopore engineering, and an interest in their integration with molecular motors in biophysics.
Teaching profile: The successful candidate will deliver teaching in molecular biology, biochemistry, experimental biology and nanobiotechnology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He or she will be involved in supervising practical work, tutored projects, work placements and postgraduate dissertations. The candidate will be able to contribute to the development of new teaching modules related to the laboratory’s research themes, particularly concerning recombinant proteins, molecular motors and nanopore technologies.
Research profile: The candidate must possess solid expertise in molecular biology, particularly in the design, production and purification of recombinant proteins. Experience or a strong interest in protein nanopore engineering and the use of molecular motors in biophysics will be a major asset. The ideal candidate will operate at the interface between biology, biophysics and nanotechnology, with the ability to develop quantitative experimental approaches.
