SUNPEROM International Summer School 2026: Solar-to-Methanol Conversion

From 5 to 7 October 2026, Université Paris-Saclay (Orsay) will host the SUNPEROM International Summer School 2026 – Solar-to-Methanol Conversion, focusing on recent advances in photoelectrocatalysis for solar fuel production.

Organised within the European Horizon project SUNPEROM (Solar-Driven Perovskite Tandem for Methanol Production), the three-day Summer School will bring together international researchers, early-career scientists and students for lectures, scientific presentations, interactive workshops and discussion sessions.

Key topics will include:

  • Photoelectrocatalytic CO₂ conversion;
  • Perovskite-based tandem materials and devices;
  • Reactor design and solar fuel production;
  • System integration and performance evaluation;
  • Sustainability assessment and techno-economic analysis.
