The ecological transition is not just a technical challenge. It implies changing our production and consumption patterns and this requires societal, political and economic changes. Current production models generally involve extracting, processing, exporting and discarding resources. However, these models can no longer be sustained: resources are not unlimited. It is therefore necessary to integrate a reflection on a new model of society, economically viable and socially acceptable, favouring recycling and a local and circular economy.
In addition to funding research projects, the exchange of ideas between scientists and industrialists, with civil society, through the organization of conferences or events will be promoted.
