Call for projects informations
Important information: The MaTerRE DIM is relaying this call for projects for initiatives linked to our methodological axis: ‘Economy of the ecological transition’.
The Region supports research projects in the social sciences and humanities, to examine the changes taking place in our society, to analyse the issues specific to the Île-de-France region and to have a direct and lasting impact on the region and its stakeholders.
Who can benefit?
Tenured researchers, research fellows, lecturers (maximum 7 years after thesis*) wishing to carry out their project in an Île-de-France research or higher education establishment over a maximum period of 3 years.
*Some exceptions possible: parental leave, maternity leave, disability, long-term illness
What is the nature of the support?
A maximum of €150,000 to cover operating expenses, such as :
- Expenses relating to the salaries of associated scientific staff (doctoral students, post-doctoral students, trainees, etc.), teaching relief for the Chairholder and/or associated scientific staff,
- Expenses relating to research work and related costs, including for example: participation in conferences, publication, translation, consumables, dissemination, communication.
The following are not eligible: management costs, capital expenditure (including the purchase of equipment costing more than €500).
Procedure
- Candidate projects are selected by the Île-de-France establishments involved in site coordination (university clusters and territorial coordination agreements).
- The projects selected by the groupings (2 to 4 applications per institution involved in site coordination) are then submitted by the project sponsor (employer) on the Île-de-France Region’s regional aid platform mesdemarches.iledefrance.fr.
- Applications are assessed by external assessors and a multidisciplinary selection committee.
- The selected projects are submitted to the regional executive and voted on by the elected representatives at a meeting of the Île-de-France Region’s Standing Committee.
- Once the Standing Committee has approved the regional support, an agreement setting out the conditions for awarding the regional grant will be signed between the beneficiary establishment and the Region.
Worth noting:
To qualify for this support, the host institution of each Chair undertakes to publish 3 internship offers for a minimum period of 2 months.
