Science for all – multi-year projects 2026-2028

Through this multi-year partnership, the Region aims to provide long-term support for organizations that share science and promote science-society dialogue in the Paris Region, and to give them a high profile.

What type of project?

• Long-term actions organised with one or more of the following objectives are eligible:
• To share the scientific process with and for all residents of the Ile-de-France region, and in particular young people and girls, as well as those who are said to be distant from science – for geographical, social or economic reasons,
• Promote awareness of scientific and technological innovations, and in particular advances in research in the Paris Region, particularly in relation to the region’s Major Research and Innovation Areas,
• Encourage dialogue between science and society, in particular by promoting interactive, multidisciplinary exchanges on the major issues facing society today and in the future,
• Develop participatory science and encourage citizen participation in science,
• Cover a wide range of scientific topics,
• Be free to the general public.

Who is eligible?

This call for projects is open to any public higher education and research establishment, and any public or private not-for-profit organisation located in the Paris Region, whose remit includes the development of scientific, technical and industrial culture.

The priority audiences are :

• Young people, especially girls,
• Ile-de-France residents who are furthest from science for economic, social or geographical reasons.

What is the nature of the aid?

In year 1:

• The amount of the operating grant may be between €10,000 and €40,000,
• The amount of the investment grant may be up to €15,000,
• In both cases, these amounts will represent up to 80% of the total eligible expenditure; for projects with an overall investment budget of €5,000 or less, the regional contribution rate may be increased to 100% of the total investment expenditure.

In years 2 and 3:

• The amounts allocated may be the same as or less than the amounts allocated in year 1, subject to budget availability.
