Smartphone collection point – for the MaTerRE exhibition prior to recycling

As part of an exhibition at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, organised by DIM MaTerRE and due to open at the end of January 2027, we are launching a collection drive for used mobile phones and smartphones amongst the entire ESPCI community (students, researchers, administrative and technical staff).

A collection box is available from Monday to Friday in the administration building, on the first floor opposite the staircase (PhD student registration office and DIM MaTerRE office).

Before being recycled, your old smartphones (or some of them) will be exhibited for six months at the Musée des Arts et Métiers. This is an opportunity to explore the lifecycle of the materials they are made from and the challenges of recycling these items.
