Call for Ideas : show you work at the Museum des Arts et Métiers!

As part of the development of a scientific dissemination project in collaboration with Musée des Arts et Métiers, DIM MaTerRE launches a call for ideas from research teams and laboratories in the Paris region.

The aim of this project is to raise public awareness of scientific developments in the Paris region and to highlight the technological and societal ‘tipping points’ linked to the emergence of sustainable, modular, multifunctional materials produced using environmentally friendly processes.

The aim of the call is to identify and list objects, instruments, experimental devices, prototypes or techniques that are emblematic of current scientific activity in the field of advanced eco-responsible materials (see form for details).

The presentations may take various forms: samples, explanatory panels, videos, animations, images, models, etc.

Selected contributions may receive funding from DIM MaTerRE and/or contribute to:

• The development of exhibition modules to be temporarily displayed in the permanent collections of the Musée des Arts et Métiers between late 2026 and early 2027.
• An inventory of contemporary scientific heritage, which can be promoted beyond the scope of the above exhibition.

Ideas and contributions Ideas and contributions must fall within the thematic areas of DIM MaTerRE and the relevant collection areas of the Musée des Arts et Métiers (Materials, Energy, Transport, Construction).
