MaTerRE network researchers: join us for the DIM’s 20th-anniversary event

Researchers who are members of the network and lead projects funded by the DIM MaTerRE are invited to attend the event (online registration available on the website). The event will take place on Monday 29 June, from 1.30 pm to 7.30 pm at the headquarters of the Île-de-France Region.

To mark this anniversary, the Region will bring together the scientific communities it has supported since the creation of the DIMs, as well as researchers and stakeholders involved in future DIM projects. This event will provide an opportunity to look back on 20 years of regional support for research, to share feedback and to discuss the future prospects for scientific innovation in Île-de-France.

The programme will include several round-table discussions on the evolution of the DIMs and their scientific and socio-economic impact, as well as a special presentation by Alain Aspect, winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics and professor at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School – Université Paris-Saclay.

  • 4.20pm – 5.00pm | Keynote address by Alain Aspect, 2022 Nobel Laureate in Physics, Professor at the Institut d’Optique Graduate School – Université Paris Saclay
  • 5.00 pm – 5.30 pm | Discussion and outlook with Valérie Pécresse, President of the Region, and Philippe Gillet, President of the Regional Scientific Council
