MaTerRE supports the Congress of Civil Engineering: City of the future and climate change.

Organised by the Association Française de Génie Civil (AFGC), the Association Universitaire de Génie Civil (AUGC) and the ENS – Paris-Saclay, this congress will bring together many actors from the construction, urban planning and civil engineering sectors (professors, researchers, academics, engineers, economic actors, architects…) around the challenges of construction and urban development in the face of global warming.

Topics will include materials, structures, environment, building physics, sustainability of building materials, urban planning, construction and renewable energy. The main objective of this congress is to promote the sharing of knowledge and discussion on these themes among the various actors present.

Several workshops will be proposed: round tables, site visits (of the Grand Paris Express or the installations of the OJ 2024 for example), technical exhibitions and posters exhibitions

A doctoral course on digital twins and hybrid tests will be held in advance of the congress on Monday, May 22, registration here. On the same day, an educational workshop on LCA tools and software will also be offered, registration here.
