Job offer Lecturer-researcher in Physics – LAMBE

Teaching

Teaching objectives and supervision requirements :
The person recruited will teach physics in the first year (L1) in several portals (physics-chemistry, mathematics-physics, etc.), as well as in the second and third years (L2 and L3) in bachelor’s degrees in physics, chemistry, life sciences, and at the Institut Villebon-Charpak. They can also take part in masters courses at the University of Paris-Saclay. Particular attention will be paid to their ability to teach and develop practical work (TP) and to get involved in experimental projects, especially within Fablab projects.

Research

Description of laboratory activities and research team:

The activities of the LAMBE laboratory (UEVE/CNRS/ CYU) focus on the development of multi-scale
approaches – from the molecule to the cell – and the development of analysis and modelling tools structural elucidation of (bio)molecules, and understanding the impact of fine structural of fine structural variations on their reactivity and interaction properties in the context of macromolecular assemblies, and materials design. The knowledge generated is applied applications in the fields of Life, Health, the Environment and Energy.
The team combines the profiles of physicists, chemists and biologists, and boasts cell biology, atomic force microscopy and nanopore experimentation facilities. It also benefits from the Laboratory’s bioanalytical platforms (mass spectrometry, mass photometry, bio-separation) and modeling tools.
