ELIGIBILITY

This call for projects is open to all researchers in laboratories across the Île-de-France region working on topics covered by the MaTerRE network. No prior affiliation with the DIM is required. Submission of a project will be considered as an application for affiliation. Where applicable, a team profile must be submitted alongside the project for each non-affiliated partner.

MaTerRE’s contribution ranges from €50,000 to €150,000 and must not exceed 66% of the total cost. The purchase of equipment must not have commenced before the panel’s decision.

New equipment and/or the upgrading of existing equipment are eligible provided they meet the criteria of the call for proposals.

IMPORTANT:

Equipment developed in-house, bespoke to meet the specific requirements of the associated research projects, and involving internal development costs, is eligible. Staff costs (fixed-term contracts for engineers) involved in development work as part of equipment projects may now, on an exceptional basis, be included in the eligible investment expenditure base where it is impossible to engage external contractors. A certificate confirming that these in-house staff costs have been included in the investment section for the relevant financial year must be provided.

TIMELINE

7 September 2026, 23:59: Submission of the letter of intent

30 September 2026, 23:59: Deadline for submission of proposals

December 2026: Interviews with shortlisted project leaders.

End of 2026: Publication of results.
